Please stop assuming that because I am single and gainfully employed, I am super eager to be in a relationship with you so that I can religiously give you my hard earned salary.
I would also appreciate it if you stopped proposing to me or asking me to date you right after you find out the name of the company that I work at. What ever happened to wanting to be with someone because you fell in love with their smile or better yet their personality? I get the impression that my salary (or my pension as another guy put it) is the major draw card to being in a relationship with me.
The begging for a R10 or R20 on the street corner or at the taxi rank is not a pick up line that does it for me.
The next time that I jump into your taxi, don't tell me that I must take you home or just how badly you want to get with me. All that I want is to get home from my long day at work so just drop me off at my stop.
Your persistence is admirable but don't you think that it's time to approach someone who is willing to be your Sugar Mummy?
I am interested in men who are ambitious, successful, gainfully employed, respectful and know how to treat a young lady. The boyish behaviour with the need for a woman's financial support is just embarrassing and does not appeal to me in any way.
As for the taxi drivers... go home to your wives and mothers of your children.
Yours sincerely,
Miss Independent
